摘要：Motivated by the question of Shapiro and Sundberg raised in 1990, studyon linear combinations of composition operators has been a topic of growinginterest. In this talk, we completely characterize the compactness of anylinear combination of composition operators with general symbols on theweighted Bergman spaces in two classical terms: one is a function theoreticcharacterization of Julia-Carath/'eodory type and the other is a measuretheoretic characterization of Carleson type. Our approach is completelydifferent from what have been known so far.
